did you uninstall Ableton 10 ?

    going to install 11. was curious if it will cause any problems. google says no/yes. but just curious if anyone here had any problems

    its not pirated. i paid for it. mac

    On win having multiple versions is no problem. Don't know if this helps you, I'd expect it to be same on Mac.

    Why would it matter? You either install 11 and they both work, or not. If not, you will uninstall 10 and end up with just 11. It will make about a ten minute difference to you.

    You can install all versions of ableton at once. No need to uninstall.

    Also can you please edit your title and add "Ableton Live" to the title?

    No point in having both versions since you cannot open projects saved in Ableton 11 in Ableton 10. So basically if you open a project in Ableton 11 just once (and save it) it is useless in Ableton 10. I just "converted" all projects from Ableton 10 to Ableton 11 and at the same time straigten up my file structure. Now all my projects have the "right" files structure: Using Collect All and Save so all audio .wav files is inside the Samples\Recorded folder on each projects.
    I had a hard time understanding the files structure in Ableton and now I understand how it works.

    Haven’t even installed on my new Mac. Only thing I miss is Arsenal scripts from NativeKontrol. That guy don’t give a shit on updating them to run in L11
