I don't really see all that many mix and mastering people who are ever all hot to trot about the newest plugins. They have their chains and templates and so on. Throwing new plugins into the workflow is like gradual acceptance of some new plugin still just being learned.

But in line with the "completed collection" idea, there is no way anyone didn't miss things. And there is no way they have extensively tried them all. If there are no new things to demo, you could scavenge retroactively all the stuff no-one used. Good luck to them ever guessing correctly where you found it; and the likelihood is even lower of someone just happening to use the same sample/plugin. Instead of having the synth presets in your tracks identified. Like Crate Digging old records, but with sound and fx sources instead.

Dudes in this forum (and sister site) are way too defensive when it comes to scene releases. They're too quick to point you're not grateful for the releases when you ask simple questions with simple answers.

I don't think they did, usually scene groups announce when they are retiring. Unless the group imploded, but it's not like we know how many people are in there, and usually scene drama ripples across other groups. You would've known by now.

They're not, despite having some overlap with the releases. Turns out, more than one group (or people) can crack the same software, especially when the protection has been broken and unchanged for a while.

IIRC the big wave would have been Golden Week, but that one is over already. But they might be cooking something special, like the Acustica stuff from last time.
