I agree with most of what you said. For me, Spitfire really stands in a league of its own. I've been following all the recent buzz around the VSL "releases" (from a distance, 'cos I have no real interest in migrating from Kontakt to their proprietary player right now). Other than that, I’m happy because a good chunk of my lingering questions have finally been 'settled': I'm more than happy with my Spitfire, Berlin Series, Cinesamples and Cinematic Studio Series libraries (these buddies allow me to focus more on composing and less on fiddling with the player!).
