    Hey there,

I wanted to start a online music library, where people could buy beats (own and also made from construction kits), vocals (own female and male) FX, loops, jingles, background music, trailer music etc etc.

Now the problem is: Most licenses say that you can't use their products in a library/sample form. So I'm pretty much out of ideas now, all the good stuff I bought is pretty much useless. Like even Omnisphere / Trilian you can't use, you can't use anything really for that matter.

Any of you got an idea?

    Thanks and kind regards

theres a ton of sites and manufactures out there where you can do this already, so no you would be sol with that unless you make your own stuff

I dont mean to discourage you by saying this, but the market is about to be WAY over-saturated with smaller libraries. Even though there is always a way to work with the sample creators and many times get free permissions, the last poster was right. There are libraries already set up in the back-lots of most of the major networks that are already doing this with huge teams...

    As others have said... but...

YOU STILL HAVE HOPE !!!

Simply sell your "beats" to existing online library websites....

Some offer commission on your sales... some rob you with a 1 time cash purchase then sell your beats forever.... start small then learn from the process...

id like to see them prove it was there drum sound in the first place ....most libs probably ripped them off them self to begin with

unless its some signature sound of course ... which i can't imagine after all there beats not some one singing or playing a melody ...
