I've been waiting for this moment for 20 years, until technology allows me to remix this song, 50% is the Independence sampler, the second 50% is Samplitude Pro X3 built-in instruments, have nice listening

 

50% + 50% = 100% .. so nothing more. Which of the Independence Sampler patches or Samplitude instruments are able to simulate Dave's voice in this way? Also I bet there's also a lot of original sound footage used!

@lukehh I used a lot of Spectral Layers Pro, for extracting vocals i paid 3.99$ here:

it's very complicated for a home user like me, but I succeeded

 

The easiest way to extract the vocals from it would have been to take the DTS Mastered version of "Songs of Faith and Devotion" there you have the voices and instruments already separated.

How did you make the intro bass? Is it from the original song?

@lukehh by DTS you mean the 5.1 version? If so: unfortunately the vocals aren't always clear. Often they have also some instruments/sound fx on it. E. g. I had the hardest time to get Dave's vocal on 'Rush' and I wasn't happy with the result. And I coudn't extract Dave's vocals on 'Stripped' (Black Celebration).

@TonyG could you tell us how you separate the vocals?

I think "last great moment" is a bit too harsh. Maybe "peak moment", I would kinda agree. Well, "Songs of Faith and Devotion" and "Music for the Masses" were fantastic, too.

Everything in life has a sinewave curve...

 

MFTM was the album before Violator, and songs of faith just ....didn't click . imo finest hour was black celebration
