Wow, very cool! The BARP2600 is Behringers clone? Pretty easy you say.. well, not for me But it seems a little bit easier when having a real instrument at hand.

Above I was wondering if it was played manualy or its sequenced. I see now, its sequenced. You did it with the Oberkorn (funny that DM has a song called Oberkorn ;) and @reziduchamp did it withe the internal Korg ARP2600 sequncer.
How about @Axvap? You mentioned to sequence the volume (or filter).

@GulDukat Do you have more of Depeche Mode (or other bands) recreations?

I can't see the setup for the Arp, but I'm curious what you did to get your version, how it compares to my messing about... Sounds awesome btw.

I couldn't figure out how they made the pan across the stereo over the full 16 ticks. I only got it alternating. Sounds cool like that though.

Glad its a decent result and happy to give it a go. I lose practice and get lazy so it was useful to remind myself that I have some basic version of these skills.

To learn from it follow the wires and see what's active. Its pretty simple using the Noise and silencing the 3 oscillators... The thinking, back then, was emulating percussion and drums. I know Miller used these synths to emulate kicks as well, but in the case of hats, crashes etc we're just working with noise to get an artificial and unapologetic emulation of percussion. If you have that in mind its not that hard to change the pattern in the sequencer section. See what I muted with the faders. There's a handful of faders have changed. If you can view two instances together, load the Init Preset alongside it and you can see my thinking, how I moved faders around to different amounts.
