Does anybody have experience with the Denon Prime 4? Would you choose it over the Pioneer DJ XDJ XZ or not? Thanks

If you"re not a rekordbox user yet, the best is the Denon. I prefer the jog on the Pioneer, the FX part on the mixer is a bit better (probably cause I'm more use to DJM workflow), but the internal software on the Denon is better, especially if you don't want to spend to much time creating your playlist. Also Denon can import Rekordbox playlist (and other like Serato/Traktor) but not the other way. And Denon give you 2+2 deck (which mean you can use 4 deck at the same time using one deck to control 2 deck), the Pioneer doesn't.

So if you're not use to the Pioneer workflow, the Denon is the best, the Pioneer is great too, but more expensive for nothing more than a standard interface (which is great if you're use to that, but useless if you're not). If you want something that every DJ would be confortable using, the Pioneer is also the best. So to resume, Pioneer is best if you already know that workflow and/or want something other DJ will feel confortable using, but Denon is best if you're from other software and aren't use to the Pioneer workflow, the fact that you can plug and play your track without having to analyse them on a computer before is a real advantage, especially when you got a big track collection.

Also, a little thing with the Pioneer, it is sold like it's 2 XDJ with a DJM, which technically it kind of is, but it got a little latency which make it feel like a controler, which isn't bad, but just something to be aware of if you're expecting CDJ 2000 touch with it.
