Delete Steinberg applications from applications folder and leave plugins?

    I have a couple demos of some Steinberg plugins and wanted to know if they will still work if I delete the standalone applications from the macOS application folder? I never really use individual plugins “standalone” and the only one might be Omnisphere but that’s just to install packs. Figured I’d delete standalone plugin apps to get a bit more space out of my MacBook while waiting to upgrade

    I delete nearly every standalone application, because I only ever use the plugin versions in my DAW.

    You can always just move the application out of your applications folder first, to just test that the plugin versions will still work. If not, put it back. I can't think of an example where it will matter.
