Decrypt nkx files to use with total commander and lite converter?

Tried unpacking an nkx file, error basically translates to “failed to decrypt id something not found”, is it possible that the library needs decrypted before total commander can unpack the library samples to be shrank? inNKX or other part needs updating? Or is this just a bad library and I have to get another one?

I'm not sure if this helps, but I was able to unpack older libraries just fine with Total Commander on macOS via CrossOver, then I had an issue with a Kontakt 8 library and some error message. But I found the latest version of the 2017 extension which has been fixed multiple times recently by vkDanilov, and now everything works fine. I'm not sure where I got the file, but I think there might be a thread around here further discussing extracting Kontakt library samples. Also, be sure to add all 3 file types for extracting: nkc, nkx, nicnt

Just in case, update your NativeAccess.xml file

Oh could that be why it can’t decrypt a nkx maybe? would launching and checking for native access updates update the xml?

If the .nkx file is from a library that's not already in your NativeAccess.xml that could be the fix. Total Commander's inNKX searchs for the data used for the encryption in the NativeAcces.xml as a last resort.
