OK, here is the big problem. I can't find a debreath plugin that can be "intelligent" enough to recognise breaths. most of them cut more than breaths and others don't even bother cutting breaths. Can anyone list any Debreath plugin that actually works?

I've been experimenting with Izotope's and Waves'

    Thank you in advance

I've tested every breath plugin I could find... nothing beats just cutting and then fading the breath volume down.
That said, after using Hush.AI and getting amazing noise removal using machine learning AI tech, lets hope someone develops a similar tool to reduce breaths.

Well manual cutting is always the best. But when you have a 1hour long dialogue to fix... :woot:

iZotope/Waves not doing the job? I think Melodyne can also do something similar.

Have you considered splitting the dialogue into shorter segments for processing? What is the workflow when editing an hour-long dialogue? What DAW do you use?

There's a Strip Silence option in Studio One. It might help you after playing around with the settings a bit.

I don't think I've ever had a problem with the Breath control module in RX, no matter what vocals and mic they were recorded with. What exactly is it that RX Breath control doesn't do correctly in your case?

There are different people speaking. Some of them have harsh S some breathe a lot , others are almost silent. So debreath not always detects correctly the breath. Sometimes it's cutting words , sometimes it doesn't detect breaths. My solution is going through the spectrogram an manually removing the breaths
