    Hello Guys
I would like to know if there is a way to deal with the issue of losing a patch when upgrading a VST or if you guys have a turnaround for this
example I have a track WIP that use a certain patch from serum or Tal j8. when I upgrade the VST from sister site, next time I run studio one 4.5 it doesn't recognize the update and I have to re-drag the said VST to be used and so I loose what patch I was using. I hope I stated my problem clear enough.

how do you deal with this besides writing down every patch you're using, which is time consuming and less effective.

    Best regards

    1. Create a folder: "Example: " My Favorites Preset "
    2. Use the Pop-up Menu (see the Pictures below)
    3. " VST3 Preset exportieren " or " VST3 Preset importieren "

If you want to call up the saved preset, choose " import preset" from the pop-up menu!

    Backup
(backing up the files) Burn the folder with your presets on a USB stick or better on CD / DVD / BluRay.
