Can't wait to try it. No time to watch it all now, but at a first look that step modulator looks awesome.
    Thanks for the news :mates:

Duda is a genious. I bought chthulu last year, it's one of the best 40$ I have ever spent on a vst plugin.
We can be sure this serum synth is gonna be a true nuclear bomb, with features never seen before. We can also expect a +150$ price tag(nerve is 199$, and he says it sells really well). I hope there will be an introductory price for serum.

Duda wrote on Reddit that there will be an exclusive preorder for it with limited release presets from artists he works with.

Ill be in line to snatch it up alongside the new NI stuff thats going to come out in September/October.

BUT, my one issue is... Duda/Xfer need to work ont he products they have out before dropping a new one. I love Cthulhu, but it is EXTREMELY difficult in Logic. Like a major pain in the ass crack.

    dat wavetable though...

seriously now, I bet you it's gonna be awesome. can't wait for it to be released. As McCookie said, Duda really is a genious.

Also, did you guys realize that in the live stream video he seems to have all the Massive waveforms inside Serum???

I think it's the first synth in a long time I'm looking forward to buy, if there's some good offer at launch.
You're right, Cthulhu in Logic is a pain, I use it in Ableton and it's a bit easier, but for the way it work,
I don't know if the routing can be made simpler, seems we have to make that damn midi/audio routing every time.

in cubase, i simply load it as a regular vsti instrument, and then, i go to my instrument (the one i want to control), and in the MIDI IN, instead of having my midi keyboard, i just choose "CHTHULU MIDI OUT".
and there it is. i activate both chthulu and the instrument, i press a key on my midikeyboard--> chthulu plays a chord--> sends it through midi out--> my instrument receives the midi notes and plays them.

sure. maybe other DAW don't handle midi out, etc, the same way. but the fun thing is when i bought chhtulu, i wasn't able to load the chord presets. then after spending hours on it, i grabbed a version from au..oz site, and it worked flawlessly. morality : cracked/warezed version often work better than the purchased ones :)

lfotools inspired many other companies and softs. softs like volumeshaper, from cableguys clearly look like lfotools (i may be wrong, and it came first..)
chtulu inspired many apps as well. cubase "chorder" could be one of them.
    nerve resynthesis is fking powerful.
