God damn deadening the exterior horn throat/around the horn on these speakers with DrArtex Lace Expert 18 polyurethane made ton of difference, it stopped almost completely horn "ringing" ringing otherwise was pretty bad in these, had use bi-amp and turn tweeters down like 9db for my ears to not bleed. Peak at 2.6-3khz was pretty bad in these, ear hurting bad. Its still has some peak like 2-3db at 2.7khz but I just fixed it by eq.

Another "mod" I did to these was heavy duty sound dampening mat to around the ring of speaker baskets where magnet and spider meet (in theory less energy is wasted) and god it made the difference in boominess bass region sounds much smoother even tho maybe it decreased bass by couple db's.

And one thing that I did to these now was to use audyssey eq and it made these sound just perfect! Its weird without these "mods" audyssey eq sounded so bad but now I practically need it!

Finally I used same polyurethane and made "rings" around the drivers.

Everything sounds so "ultra hd" now:D

And it made night and day difference in mixing, so much easier to mix now.
