    right now cpu much faster and suitable for parallel processing and it can quickly operate with little amount of data. gpus have anothor architecture - they designed for shaders and large amount of data at once time...
    so when you want to speed up this data transport it cause spme buffer problems.
    but I think this is possible to partially offload cpus by computing floating point and computationally intensive DSP on gpus asynchronously
