So now I have Kontakt 5.5.2, it should load as plugin with my PT 10.3.9 without headache, right? Win Pro 7

 

As long as you got the rtas or aax plugin with your download, then yes. Should be all good!

 

Smoove, I appreciate your time, but this is really all puzzling to me. I am going to finish music I started 6 years ago. I had PT 10.3, Kontakt 5, and libraries, why now it's all screwed up, and I need this and that?

 

Hey, don't worry. When you install Kontakt, you have the option which versions of the plugin to install, yes?
There is the standalone, and the plugins. As you don't seem to be aware of this, you probably installed all versions of the plugin version.
I was just making sure that your download had the relevant plugs; I'm sure it did! And that you were aware of which ones are PT related ie. not AU or VST.
In fact, I just referred to another comment further up that mentioned:

...which must have been what you used before, as that is your PT version.

Now, if your libs aren't showing up, that's a different matter. And I and others can help you with that too.

But is Kontakt now showing up in your list of instruments in PT...?
