Unfortunately DAWs' internal architecture remains unchanged from their birth. For most DAWs, alteration is the solution not expansion. Of course for some of them like Rap musics, destruction is the cure.:trashing:

just what the hell are you talking about. Look at this:

and there are at least a dozen more custom reaper skins that looks far better than any daw you have ever installed

Also has some important non skinnable, polar bear white windows that ruin the whole thing, also i think the horizontal meters on that Imperial theme look bulbous and awful.

What is one persons cup of tea, isn't everyone's.

    Worst DAW overall:

    PT, Cubase, Sonar,Logic(because crapple)

    geekiest daw:
    Reaper

    best daw
    Ableton/FL

wrote that just down to offend you.

its a rather dumb topic again, because DAW Wars bring nobody something, use what you like and dont give a shit about what others think.

i started the thread to hear your opinions and not to offend somebody, and because maybe someone posts a grateful idea about a glorius DAW which is better than the three i've posted.

THIS IS NOT A DAW WAR! i work with all the DAWs, not satisfaced with any...

edit: right now i'm everlasting waiting that Logic Pro X loads the project (with v.i.s)... while Reaper is a King with it...

I agree if you don't like the Imperial theme, just pick another one. My god there must be at least 30 of them.
And if you feel zippy created your own.

I like plain and simple to be honest. I hate cubase 8 dark theme. I feel like I am ready for a funeral every time I start it.

I want a mix out of Logic X and Studio One

Probably a better Topic would be:
What are the best Features of DAW X

    Studio One Controller assignment
Studio One Latency and CPU Meter (lists each Plugin individually)
Logic X Zoom Tool, Screensets , Save Summing Tracks as Preset (not possible in S1)
Logic X Apple MIDI Loops preview follow Project Key (not possible in S1)
    etc...

You got a DAW to suck your balls?! I'm looking for one to give me head in order to stimulate my creative process.

Logic Pro X does tend to drag under its own weight, what I've found is that each DAW has its good points and bad points; it's a matter of their benefits' outweighing their vexations. It's kind of like with a wife or a girlfriend or a good buddy – can be an insufferable asshole sometimes, but likes to pick up the tab, is unflinchingly compassionate, or knows just the thing to say to get you to put down the knife.

At the stage of finishing a project you should work only with audio files (no midi, no instruments). If you add heavy processing, process the respective tracks then bounce again the the dry & the wet and remove that processing afterwards.

By the way? What DAW you used when you finished other projects? It may the tool suitable for your particular needs.
