DAW and Mixing console

    @Blue I know it is not a bad suggestion. Yet as it is now, I dont even need the Digimax. Another thing is that there are no Digimax for $50. The average price seems to be $150. That changes the game because I can go straight into the Focusrite and save the $150. When I analyze everything I lean toward a console. That way I have more flexibility in the future. The Presonus is tempting with Studio One. That MIDAS and Allen Heath @The Pirate mentioned also look like good options. In either case I can sell my Focusrite.

    studio one v4 talks to Presonus interface like magic. A lot gets done just by plugging in. it recognizes different inputs and assigns them to the inputs, recognizes MIDI and assigns that etc,
