Some time ago I installed the Softube plugins (and some others too) and used patched libstXX++.6.0.9.dylib

The instructions were as follows:

- Run Installers
- Copy corresponding patched libstXX++.6.0.9 + alias to Applications/ilok/
- Open up terminal and hit the following commands, one at a time:
sudo chmod 775 /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.*
sudo chown 0:0 /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.*
sudo codesign -fs - /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.6.0.9.dylib
- Copy our patched plugins to Library/Audio/Plug-ins (COMPONENTS or VST)

All are working fine...

But. I soon realised that iTunes would not load at all. I tried reinstalling several times but nothing gets it working.

Also DaVinci Resolve Studio stopped loading too. That was more of a problem because it's a useful tool for me.

I check the crash logs and it comes up with this:

Now I am no expert here, but I think it is to do with the issuing of the '
sudo codesign -fs - /Applications/ilok/libstXX++.6.0.9.dylib' and this is kind of pointing something in my system.

So the question is - Is there a way in which I can get all these things to play happy? Has anyone else had this problem?

I am on OSX Yosemite 10.10.5

Sorry to not reply in a hurry! I have been pretty busy recently and haven't been checking the forum.

I posted this some time ago now and I still haven't worked out a solution. Unfortunately. All I am thinking is that, if it is somehow possible to unlink what has been codesigned and to return to how it was before. I am sure that is possible - just have no idea how!!!

Sorry. One day this will be 'Resolved' (excuse the pun).

 

Same problem here 10.12.6

errors on quicktime, twitter app, vox app, quicklook, some adobe crashes.

Update:

Fixed with the "Auto-Txne v7.6.8 AU.VST3 macOS [HOOK][dada]" lib file, dont know why, but it works.

Runnin flawless on 10.12.6
