Darn it Kontakt,

    Hmm. On a Mac you simply 'add library' in Kontakt 5.6.8, watch it crash, and then open your DAW using whatever version of Kontakt you please. It should load just fine.

    Tell me about it.

    The first time I tried opening a library I must have tried a hundred times before giving up...only to find that it loaded perfectly in my DAW.

    Since then I kind of look forward to the crash as that seems to be evidence of it working.

    Beautifully counterintuitive.

    I have a PC, when I try to open Kontakt from within my PoTools 10.3.9, I get the Demo/Activitate,,,window!?

    I advise you to download Native Instruments Kontakt 6 v6.1.1, then Upgrade to version 6.2.1 and follow the procedure shown in the image:

    However, to be able to add libraries, each library needs to have its own nicnt and wallpaper files (sometimes you will have to create or use nicnts and/or wallpapers files made by third parties for each library!). Search the forum for nicnt and kontakt wallpapers to understand how to proceed.

    Thank you very much for your time. I do have Kontakt 6.1.1, I will try to find 6.2.1 and follow this instruction.
