I wish the first things I've ever made sounded good like this. I had no idea at all on what I was doing, I use to do some non sense things like pan the kick and throw phaser on the basses and snares for no reason at all, that if my tracks have a bassline to start with. Some people are born with a predisposition to music, that's certainly not my case.

I wish I could go back and find older songs, but this is the oldest I can find, from 2001. I would like to say I've improved a lot since then, but I am not so sure about that. lol

Anyways, here's an outro I wrote for an electronic album. Was meant to be a joke, kind of an elevator music groove. Plus a hidden track. Mixing/master/general song writing terrible, so apologies in advance.

I might post a few extra tracks there from over the last 2 decades (also badly mixed/mastered/written).

I really like these tracks. Loads of atmosphere in it. All fits together. Instrumentation, composition, arrangement, feeling. Big Up! If I had met you back then in my early days I would have liked to collabarate

The oldest track I could find was this one I made in Acid around 1999. This was around the time I started uploading music to acidplanet.com if anyone here remembers that site:

Compared to my most recent track, what a difference 2 decades make:

I made this one for a Music Technology class back in college. It got an A. Hard to believe that education standards have fallen even lower since then :)

Your first track was not bad, but I really liked your recent example. Amazing work bro! :)

i know its not krunk music i made it for a man named Krunk, he's heavy. and i was going for the rolling sound of a bong hit.

edit: just noticed, this was my post number 420 lol, not sure what year i made that but i stopped smoking weed a very long time ago. im going to guess around 2005. i still remember what drum machines i used, the bass was heavily moded from a stab and several of the designed synths were z3ta+ thats why it sounds so much stronger than the rest of the mix. i wish i had mixed the drum machines better, i still like the ones i used

Ive made a lot of garbage before I must admit it but I consider this to be my first official full fledged release:

I started learning music production in 2020 so it was about time I started posting my shit and finishing my tracks.

Wow, thank you.. I was not expecting any sort of compliment. I probably spent more than 2 decades butchering the mixing process (and mastering.. "what is that?!?"). I've finally started to figure things out better now in recent years, but most of my old tracks are pretty muddy and lack power. I'd almost like to try and remake some of that older stuff I did, as I think some of my better music was made when I didn't really care about making music anyone but me wanted to hear.

    Share what you've got!

Inspired by this and the general premise of this thread, I'm also posting a "remix" (is that even that the right word???) of Moonlight Sonata I did several moons ago. I'm sorry, Beethoven...

This is also never even been heard by anyone other than me (for reasons that will soon become apparent).

Somewhere between 2000 and 2001, it's pretty crap but it took forever back then.

I recorded my first track via the first Phillips cassette recorder in the late 60ies, unfortunately the cassette is gone. I've done the recording "live" (of course) via the (very bad) standard microphone that was delivered with the recorder: an instrumental, sort of freejazz, played on an awfully sounding organ ...

Here's mine... from 2003... made using sounds and sequencer from my Korg Triton Le. As you can see, I had delusions of grandeur!
