Decimation algorithms comparision

Sine 914Hz, decimation about 3.6kHz

D16's ADC emulation algorithm allows to remove all unwanted harmonics, leaving only desired artefacts (images and aliasing, that usually appear during sampling process in classic AD/DA converters).

Working in higher sampling frequencies

Sine 858 Hz (192 kHz downsampled to 3.6kHz)

Working with higher sampling frequencies in DAW, Decimort doesn't produce harmonics above 22kHz (max nyquist value for resampler).

Downsampling

Drum loop resampled (192kHz to 44kHz)

It is possible to use Decimort in a CD mastering process if there's necessity of downsampling final mix to 44kHz.

thanks for the update... lookin forward to it... this and devastor are one of a handful of 3rd parties that I use quite often.

 

+1 on that dim_triad. d16 is a solid go-to bundle all across the board. Nice sounds and processors.

The FX knob defines the ratio between the processed/unprocessed sound that is sent to an audio out.

 

exactly what one would expect, and I haven't fully examined this version but it seems to me that the wet dry would fit in better after the volume out or an extra volume knob before the wet/dry or or or a separate dry wet would've been better.

right now its just weird, or is it just me?

This is a maintenance update including fixes for bugs and issues reported and confirmed so far:

• Added - Online activation.
• Changed - Skins' resolution increased.
• Fixed - Problem with missing runtime libraries (Windows).
• Added - New I/O configurations (Mono to Stereo) (AU, AAX formats).
• Fixed - Incorrect latency compensation when plug-in bypassed.
• Fixed - Wrong I/O configuration when channel mode changed on bus (Logic Pro).
• Fixed - GUI freeze when tweaking with controls (Mac OS X 10.11).
• Fixed - Crash when changing I/O configuration (Pro Tools).
• Fixed - Occasional crash when changing edit views (Pro Tools).

Decimort 2 licensee can download update from their User Area accounts. Also demo versions were updated, downloadable at d16.pl site.
