We'd like to announce that Devastor 2 / Multiband Distortion Unit is going to be released on October 22nd, 2015 and it will replace previous version of the product. Devastor 2 comes with a lot of new features which brings it to the new level.

The plug-in consists of four essential blocks:
■ Dynamics-flattener module (one-knob controlled input signal compressor)
■ Diode-clipper distortion
■ Three multi-mode filter sections
■ Optionally activated signal limiter

■ Futhermore, Devastor 2 is D16 Group’s first plugin available as a Reason Rack Extension. Devastor 2 RE is available from the Propellerhead Shop, priced at €39.

I'm very glad to see that they've corrected the 3D perspective of the GUI. The features look the same, except there is a limiter button now. I guess they worked on the better sounding algorithms for the new version. I can't wait to play with it! They make some of my favourite plugins!

• Added - New I/O configurations (Mono to Stereo) (AU, AAX formats).
• Fixed - Incorrect latency compensation when plug-in bypassed.
• Fixed - Wrong I/O configuration when channel mode changed on bus (Logic Pro).
• Fixed - GUI freeze when tweaking with controls (Mac OS X 10.11).
• Fixed - Crash when changing I/O configuration (Pro Tools).
• Fixed - Occasional crash when changing edit views (Pro Tools).

Devastor 2 licensee can download update from their User Area accounts. Also demo versions were updated, downloadable at d16.pl site.
