D16 Group announce: Devastor 2

    D16 Group has announced Devastor 2, a major new version of their Multiband Distortion Unit.

    Along with new tag-based preset management system, alternative UI sizes and refined plug-in configuration, which comprises
    a new plug-in framework, D16 Group introduces a collection of new features as well:

    Signal Routing Selector, which replaces previous version's Pre / Post filter switches, giving more efficient control
    over processing path and at the same time offering some new signal topologies.

    Built-in Limiter - to prevent drastic changes in audio output's amplitude as well as to add some coloration to the sound.

    Redesigned Filter Model based upon more contemporary solutions giving them more analog-like behavior.

    Improved Dynamics Flattener, which delivers more accurate peaking detection with addition of punchier compression envelopes.

    Devastor 2 is going to be released in VST, AU, AAX and Rack Extension plug-in formats.

    System Requirements:

    Windows PC:
    OS version: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1
    CPU: 1.5 Ghz with SSE (Multicore system 2.0 Ghz recommended)
    RAM: 512 MB (100 GB recommended)
    Software: VST compatible host application (32bit or 64bit)

    Mac OS X:
    OS version- 10.7.x, 10.8.x, 10.9.x
    CPU- Intel based 1.5 Ghz (2.0 Ghz recommended)
    RAM- 512 MB (100 GB recommended)
    Software - AU / VST compatible host application (32bit or 64bit)

    Owners of SilverLine plug-ins will receive cross-grade offers, which also include free upgrades for Devastor licenses purchased in 6 months grace period.

    On my side, was not impressed by V1.
    Ohmicide, Saturn, Kombinat...but not this one :wink:
