    Cytomic has extremely remarkable products. Just 2 but they both rock and industrial big time! :wink:

    Because of the Glue quality I'm still thinking and rethinking if I really need that GSSL hardware compressor. Really. It's only that GSSL has more mojo due to being analogue and being somewhat [nicely] noisy, but essentially they sound pretty much the same.

    The Glue is my favourite compressor along with "Blacky" and "Whitey" from IK Multimedia. Fast to work with. You find the right setting in no time. Then if you need a more transparent and precise compressor Tokyo Dawn Records Feedback Comp II [and I] delivers. :wink: Or Klanghelm Compressor, or HoRNet Multicomp... the latter two having rather hardware-like sound to them. PSP MasterComp sounds really nice and transparent, too. Even ITB compressors [along with synths] have gone really far in the last few years IMO. I still don't trust that much only distortion/overdrive/tube emulation plugins. I'm one of those who don't like Line 6 stuff even... just the real thing. Currently drooling over a Marshall JMP-1. ;)

    On my side, i was really reluctant to guitar amp sims...because i really play them :wink:
    I NEVER liked Line6 (even if HD line is better). They totally lack in dynamic.
    But i love my Tonelab amps sims. Valvetronix power amp section sim rules. Push the VR gain, and you obtain that thick power amp compression, provided by hardware simulation between a preamp tube and a dummy speaker load (not digital). Everything else is digital, but all-tube magic (to me) is in power section and it's interaction with speaker. Add to that Nebula OwnHammer cabs, and you get amazing simulated tone. I will add LePou, TSE and Ignite Amps if you don't like Tonelab :wink:
    So, once again, don't trust Line6 because they are supposed (along to Axe FX Fractal) to hold the whole market.
    Try a Tonelab (they are cheap), just by curiosity :wink:
