Cymatics Ableton projects 'XFER SERUM Disabled Problem'

    Hello Guys.


    If i open a Template it says Some Plug-in can not be loaded and are disabled please see below for details. VST ''SERUM'': The VST Plug-in could not be found'. If i go to the Plug-in folder and click on SERUM it's open it it works fine, but the SERUM Midi clips in the Template doesn't work there is nothing it is disabled.

    I have a mac OSX. ' do you have the same problem?? i can't open SERUM in the Template's . Anyone know how fix it?

    Hmm... Do you have Serum as AU but not VST?

    I don't really know anything about Macs but that was the first thing that came to mind.

    I have Serum as AU not VST maybe is that the problem, but AU plugins works fine in Ableton

    I have had the same problem (but the other way around) with other projects. Im on Win7 and when trying to open ableton projects made on a mac using AU plugs, it fails to find the plugs even though I have the vst versions installed on my machine.

    Yeah but Ableton might be looking for a VST and not considering the AU the same thing. That's why i thought that might be the problem. I know it's a little finnicky sometimes about locating plugins on projects made on some other system. I sometimes get issue just transporting projects between my main machine and my laptop :dunno:

    Studio One does a really nice job with plugin management. Ableton is not as strong in this area.

    osx 10.11.5 ableton 9.6 serum vst

    Problem is i don't have the VST only AU

    You mean the VST version? or do you mean AU but the SERUM vet plugin?

    You will need to reinstall serum again, be sure to include the vst plugin version
