Cubasis 1.8 is now available from the app store, catapulting Cubasis to a new level of awesomeness.
This is the biggest and most anticipated update so far and includes countless fixes, improvements and new features.
The biggest new features are without a doubt the automation and the MIDI CC's support. As a consequence, all sustain pedal issues are solved with this update.
The 1.8 update also includes a phase inversion plug-in, a global mixer side panel, a redesigned effect rack and Audiobus 2 support.

Today we have also released the 1.5 update for the Cubasis Project Importer. You will need this update to be able to import your Cubasis 1.8 projects into Cubase.

Nice to see some activity on the iPad sequencer scene. It's gotten rather quiet these days.
It's a bummer that Cubasis has never offered enough basic features (like multilayer sample import or MIDI Slave Sync or the genuine handling of custom audio loops) to make me switch from Beatmaker2, but the Cubasis workflow is really steps ahead.
In BM2, i have to think before I act, and in Cubasis I just do it ;-)

And today in a few days it will get even better.
The 1.8.1 update should be available any time soon

Bellow is a list with some of the new features:

Bluetooth, AirPlay and HDMI audio out support
New noise gate effect
Extended transport controls in the audio editor

Here are the improvements:

Setup redesign
Selecting a channel in the mixer automatically scrolls its corresponding track into the visible area above the mixer.
After splitting an event only the newer part becomes selected.
Selecting a track is now also possible by touching its adjacent area in the arrange window.
When recording with the on-board keyboard the corresponding MIDI track gets autoscrolled into the visible area above the keyboard.
Double-tap resets the values of the transpose popup.
Mixer view gets updated if a track has been selected and its corresponding channel in the mixer is invisible.
Behaviour of MIDI and automation editor tools has been improved.
Tempo popup button behaviour has been improved.
