Ooops! Edited: The R2R certificate is NOT at the right place, it should be under "Autorités de certification racine de confiance".

The dll the warning box is talking is about "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\TEAM R2R\license-engine-access.dll", you should simply delete it (empty your bin), then reinstall R2R Silk Emu (as admin).

Then don't forget to protect this dll in setting it "Read-only".
(if ever you have other warnings about that, then don't set it read-only, just think to make backups of this dll).

macOS and VST2 format:
Close Cubase.
Using macOS Finder go to “~/Library/Preferences/Cubase 11/” (without the quotes).
Manually delete the Vst2xBlacklist Cubase.xml file (to delete the blacklist).
Manually delete the Vst2xBlacklist Cubase (x86_64).xml file (to delete the blacklist).
Manually delete the Vst2xPlugins Cubase (x86_64).xml file (to force a complete new plug-ins scan).
Re-open Cubase.

After deleting the plug-ins cache files, on the next run, Cubase will re-scan all of your VST2/VST3 plug-ins, and depending on the number of VST2/VST3 plug-ins installed, the process may take several minutes.

 

Yes, that's why I asked Cubase 12 is for WIN 10 and 11

 

Defender control is more trouble then its worth on Win11. You have to manually disable defender anyway before you can even download these or they get flagged. Same for running them.

 

cubase, since Version 10.5 is min. win 10 x64 only

some (me) had luck by changing the Win os Version in the registry to 10
but there are some drawbacks, some tools like wacom tablet, and touch things are
working wonky and maybe other things. Since using win10 no more crashes
so, to test its alright but, you know....

 

Yes you have to manually disable Defender before running it, but once it's done then Defender never popup again.

All other methods I tried (including registry or gpo modifications) are useless because Defender starts again after reboot/update.

Just my 0.2 cent.

 

until cubase 11 we could disable component in cubase like transit vst connect vr and so on, but it seems in 12 not possible ,anyone experience this?

 

If you know what you're doing, there's no need to disable Defender. ;)

Can install halion 6 and its contents with r2r.? Downloaded halion 6 and its contents through download assistant.

Then i used bcuninstaller to uninstall all steinberg related software include download assistant.

Every software I'm installing now is by R2R on sister site. Except alion 6, which there is no R2R release.

Using windows 11.

I still don't quite under stand other software part. SE is small or stripped version of the full version. There's already groove agent 5 r2r version. That's why im asking.
I assume i would still need to install groove agent SE as well if install the full version.

Nope, no need for you to install the SE version. Just install the new Groove Agent 5.1.10 by R2R as well as the 5.1.10 Content by R2R, also make sure to update Silk by R2R to the new one they recently posted.
