Hi, can please someone help me ? my 1000 projects in cubase changed to .merl , already try to rebout my pc , antimalware etc... recovery etc... change manually .merl to .cpr but nothing.... please someone any help...i cant leave to know i lost all my 1000 projects job!!!!!

 

How the hell did this happen man. That .merl is not simple malware, it's ransomware. First advice i bumped into is:

If you also do e-banking, have paypal and other e-wallet accounts, check them thoroughly and change passwords asap (on a different, not compromised computer) because you may have been further compromised.
Hope you fix it, that is a nasty bitch of a virus.

first remove the ransomware
here a tool which will help you to get all file back decryption tool
don't forget first to clean this nasty ransomware , and change all the password's
(change it from clean computer )
