I see a new download one is 22gb one is MB whats the difference between the versions

 

i think "extended" is a typo, I suppose it refers to "extender" ie the crack of the VR team: if you reads the windows release is "eXtender VR".
No difference, it's the Elements release to version eleven

 

I was curious too, been wanting to try out Cubase forever so I looked it up when these became available.

If i understand it right, Elements is a basic no frills version and Elements Extended is that version but with a lot of the restrictions lifted. More audio tracks, midi tracks, fx slots etc. It's much closer to the Pro version. I don't believe it's a typo as it's listed as its own version on the Steinberg site.

I couldn't find any 'extended' Elements version at Steinberg's.

 

I think you're right, I wasnt able to find it again either. Could have sworn I read about it there...
