Sometimes I think that there are a lot of Steinberg trolls... And not only here. It seems it's better for them to spend money on trolls then on developers

 

Do they finally do something to make Cubase more fun to use again?
@Hooman.Leys is right. Cubase 9.5 is running actually much smoother than V8.5. V8.5 feels like an old Boeing 747 when it starts and when I used it. Now with 9.5 everything loads a little faster, reacts a little smoother.
(I started with Cubase SX2 and Cubase has been responsive back then. But with every new version it got more and more like a big fat elephant sitting on my desktop)

Me not a troll.
Been purchase repentant some times with no functioning updates etc...
But I've invested a large amount of $ over many years and am quite happy when the DAW starts to improve. Even when it's just a little. This helps me not to think I'm an idiot all the time (only most of...)

i start with Nuendo 2, i don't remember the year exactly, but i think it was around 2004 or 5,
then nuendo 3, then switched to cubase 4 and 5 and ..... till to today (let me not to mention which version)
honestly i'm using ProTools, and logic pro x as well, they are all good!
but i'm more happy with my Steinberg product's (Me not a troll as well)

 

I'm a self confessed Cubase fanboy...

These cubase sales make me feel sad ... I never wait for the sales to come up...

Something happens to me when they announce a new version... I just HAVE to buy it immediately...

 

well this is the business plan companies such as Shhhhteinberg and Apple depend on...
it's really cool and I gotta have it now !
