    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share this Cubase 7 tutorial on Intrument Tracks vs Intrument Racks.

Its the best tutorial on the subject ive found so far, better then the official Cubase 7 Tuts & better then SWA & Groove3 Tuts etc.. But be sure to check them out anyway as they explain Instrument Rack Routing a little better. But this tutorial you may learn things about the Instrument Rack that you may not have known about.

It was a pretty hard tutorial to find as it is labelled "Nick Sibicky's Music Production Secrets #22 - Instrument vs MIDI Tracks in Cubase 7", but its an absolute hidden gem , enjoy :)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-WNAxxsxI8

Please NOTE: That in this tutorial he is using the NEW Cubase 7 Multi Timbral Functions for "Instrument Tracks" using MIDI Tracks, rather then the "Instrument Rack", but its basically the same concept & could achieve the same things :)

Heres a nice little follow up Tutiorial based on the New Multi Timbral Functions for Cubase 7 / VST Rack 2.0 / Instrument Tracks - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-bVpJhmJvA (This one shows how to activate the Multiple outputs for Instrument Tracks, where as the one above he was just using one output but assigning multiple MIDI Tracks to the same Multi Timbral Instrument & then choosing the correct MIDI port)

But be sure to also check out other Tutorials based specifically on the "Instrument Rack" aswell.

Some suggestions for Instrument Rack Tutorials are:

    - Part 21 Routing MIDI Tracks
    - Part 22 Using Multiple Audio Outputs

No problem guys I hope you find it useful & lets you start to take full advantage of your multi timbral synths for better system performance (less instances of Instrument Tracks & less computer resources etc.) & track organisation, sound design, synth programming & MIDI Routing in general :)
