    Hello all,

I'm experiencing a weird problem with Cubase 5 and Kontakt 6.
This VST had been working brilliantly for almost a year until a few days ago when Cubase crashed due to lack of memory. Since then I've been unable to open it.

When I create a new project in Cubase and create a midi track for Kontakt 6 and click to open the VST, I get a window with no body whatsoever, just 3 buttons. Can't resize it, either.

When I open an existing project with a track where this VST used to work like a charm, I get a window with a blank body (white background). Nothing else. See screenshots.

I have tried reinstalling Kontakt 6 and rescanning the plug-ins several times, to no avail. All the other VSTs I have still work fine. This seems like a GUI rendering issue to me but have no idea what caused it and how to fix it.

Any ideas? Has anyone seen this before? (I'm on Windows 10).

Found the issue. My firewall was blocking the application. I don't really understand why Kontakt needs access to the Internet, though.

And a nice, user-friendly error message would be helpful.

Why do you use still Cubase 5?
Seriously question, there are some advantages?
