Hi, does a 64bit version of Cubase 5 exist? From reading it seems that there is, but I never saw a warez version.

AFAIK....that's a hard NO. I have quite a few k'kd versions...lite, micro, full, AiR ISO, portables.....etc....
All are 32bit. They run fine on 64bit OS's but only host 32 bit VST's. BUT....there is a workaround. You
can simply bridge a single 64 bit host like Patchwork or Bidule with JBridge and open 64bit VST's in that
host. I actually do the opposite. I bridged Chainer so I can open it in 64bit Presonus Studio One and use
32 bit VST's. There's always a workaround.....

 

No, only 32-bit. For any 64-bit Cubase release you have to go with any of the newer Cubase 11 or Cubase 12 versions.

 

I've never seen a 64-bit version. The loss of old 32-bit plugins kept me on Cubase 5 for far too many years, but eventually I made the transition and never looked back. Took me about two days to migrate and get my 500+ projects to fully work in Cubase 12, lost only one or two old plugins that turned out to replaceable and never regretted the move.

 

Oh okay, thanks for the info. Unfortunately Cubase design deteriorated over time. 5 was clean and simple.
