I don’t know, I have upgraded my legit license yesterday but not had time to install, and as there are multiple activations allowed, I dont need it. If it is Pro and fully working, kudos to him, I just can’t believe they would go from 10 years (or whatever it is) uncracked to being done in less than 24 hours.

Something can't be right about this. There is no way Steinberg would implement a protection that would get defeated in just one day. I'm fairly certain some bad surprise is coming, or something.

I wonder what R2R or AudioUtopia would say about this.

 

what was needed to get cracked was the activation manager, not the daw itself... so we now have a similar situation to the previous audioutopia's protools: a clean daw (kinda, that why is similar) with modified licenses

what we are overlooking is for how long VR and others have been on steinberg's ass and have grown familiar with the encryption and possible workarounds. The update has probably opened the door they've been waiting for and boom! I own a legit version and might sell it if its truly the complete thing.

 

Cubase Pro 12?? Can you check for "Renderer for Dolby Atmos" plugin ??? Can't find it in V.R's version

 

im sorry i have an update to 12 that i havent activated yet. would only do it if i sell it

also on the site regarding dolby atmos, i think it said coming soon, so its possible it comes in the next free update.

At Cubase site in versions comparison I can see info about Renderer in Pro version, but its not available in 12.0.0. Only 2 options for work in Atmos -
1. Wait Cubase add Renderer to v12
or
2. V.R add Nuendo

 

Yep, it’s in the first maintenance release they said, not the initial one.

 

I don't understand how cubase can be cracked in a day but so many new sample libraries can't and are missing.

 

it all depends on the security layers, that why ilok-based things took that long too. also, VR probably got used to the e-licenser so he new where he had to attack since the beginning

The granular synth in halion ie skylab is really good. I find it better than padshop for presets, padshop's presets are really bad.

backbone is good too, it has a decompose function that separates the noise and tonal components in drum samples.
(you could find the same function in groove agent too, many dont know of it)

 

No dongle required on the sister site either :P

 

Remember how Hypersonic use to be? Well imagine that but on a bigger, better and newer scale.

The drums on that thing sound very impressive too as well as a pretty good sequencer. Oh and it more than rivals Kontakt in the sampler stakes, except there aren't anywhere near as many libraries for it.

If you know how to write LUA scripting, it's even pretty good for that as well.
