hi there, here's my setup:

- Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 (1st gen)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200 MHz CL16
- SSD: WD Black NVMe 250GB (OS and Cubase 10 PRO) + Crucial MX500 (Keyscape library)
- GPU: Sapphire Nitro Radeon RX 480
- Maximum performance, CPU parking disabled, and other optimizations

When I palyback a track with Keyscape in Cubase, and I open the GUI, I get huge graphic lags and slowdowns (just like a videogame that goes low on FPS), but not audio problems. Every graphic element in Keyscape (only when I'm playing back Instruments track with MIDI events - i.e., only when Keyscape is actually playing something) has lags, volume meters, knobs (when I move them), everything.

If Keyscape isn't playing something (i.e., if Cubase is playing back music, but there's no MIDI events on Keyscape Instrument track), I have no problems at all.

Working at 44.1/24 and buffer at 128 (but I tried from 16 to 1024, same thing).

Does anyone have this problem too?

 

so is this only when you use Keyscape or other plugins too?

as you can see, there's not so much to check in task manager... little usage of CPU and sparse peak of ethernet card (I need it, can't disable it)

 

If this is the patched version Disable or set to high the Asio Guard on keyscape

 

it's already disabled. I tried to turn "Activate Multi Processing" off, but I can't see changes.

 

Try Keyscape in another DAW to confirm if the problem is Cubase or Keyscape

 

I opened Keyscape in standalone and it gives me the same problem. could it be a bad installation? or compatibility issue with GPU (even if my GPU is more powerful than my laptop one, that runs Keyscape smoothly)?

ok it's the exact same version for me. always updated from sister site.

yesterday I updated GPU drivers, but nothing changed. I don't know what to try anymore

 

I had this same problem w/ Keyscape and Ableton. For me it was because i had the magnification set to 1.5 in the UI for the plugin since my monitor is 4k. Setting it back to 1x fixed it for me.
