Would cracked plugins like infinitone 2 or Zynaptiq Morph 3 Pro work on Mac with the use of Crossover? I am not aware of the software possibilities yet :S

you need to use Crossgridder or VEP. All Crossover does is create a bottle you can run Windows programs in. It does nothing about hosting the plugins, or linking them to your MacOS so they can be used in your DAW.

Once you have that setup, some Windows releases will work and some will not. V2.5 of Zynaptiq Morph will work, so it is a good bet v3 will also work.

Infinitone is not on my list as having been tested. But it does not even mention iLok. A plugin like this is probably something you care more about any latency because it affects your playing. there are other plugins which do pretty much the same things.

Depending on your Macs resources, running Windows inside Parallels Desktop is the better, easier way to go.

I believe what we need today is called "Audiogridder". Click on it and it will take you directly to the site where you can download it for free.

 

Partition your hard drive. Install Windows using BootCamp. It's the best way.

 

Crossgridder is a Crossover bottle with Audiogridder server (windows version of it) and necessary runtimes dependencies already installed into the bottle. You need the Mac Audiogridder client installed so it can be loaded as a plugin inside your DAW. It then connects to the Server (where the Windows plugins are).

One main reason to use Parallels Desktop with Win10 running instead of the Crossgridder method, is because people have had a lot more easy success with it. The other reason is because it is a "real Windows" vm, instead of Crossover which is called a "compatibility layer", like Wine.
Some plugins will not work in Crossgridder; and it is almost a per plugin cause, but that is the outcome
