CrossGridder - Is it possible to run Windows VSTs on macOS and Linux? Yes!

    Crossover is used for a virtual Windows environment on your Mac. You create what is called a bottle, and install things into it, that you can run as if they were running on a Windows machine.

    You setup Audiogridder. It is a client/server setup. It was originally created to use another computer to host plugins, to distribute the CPU usage; and have those work in your DAW like a normal plugin. It can still be done that way, or the "second computer" can be the Crossover bottle on the same computer but running a different OS inside the bottle; where your plugin is running. The Audiogridder instance is also loaded inside your DAW, which communicates with the "second computer" virtually.
