Cropping a long video audio (.m4a) into small wav clips

    I have a 30 minute interview video (.m4a). I'd like to clip different parts, put them into a folder and use them randomly in an Ableton project.

    I can do it directly on Ableton but I feel it takes too long... maybe there's a specialized tool that can handle this more efficiently.

    you can use goldwave, if you dont need the actual video/images, but only the audio.

    ableton is jsut bad with video in general, on windows its entirely broken, on mac i think it works with QT/mov video files.

    i suggest you use a different DAW for working with video.
