Probably mix 1 is the best, but you need multiband compression, and a less bass plus less volume on the kick...

 

Overall some nice work

Think the mixing not right as written.

For me the vocals don't really sit in the mix and they to my ears overpower the music. I think they need quite a bit of work. Maybe some opto compression/limiting and less delay & reverb. Dynamic range may need some work.

Use NYC if u not or parallel compression on drum bus & maybe introduce the bass also to that send & EQ correctly and check what u using on your master. Drums sound good but need work

Some of the harmonies also sound out of tune to my ears. Maybe also a touch less reverb & Delay on the vocals.

Bass needs quite a bit of work but some nice tasteful guitar parts that are played pretty well.

Multiband compression as written above would to a certain degree solve that.

For example down the vocal range and up the instruments.

Check all your frequencies so they not muddying.

However I stress that is just my taste & what u want is what you should do. Make sure you have your tracks set up properly and logically in your DAW and work on each separate and then together etc.

I must add i'm no expert on mixing by a long shot and others here know far better than I. However this is just my own preference.

Overall a nice very track and with a bit of tweeking/reworking could be really cool so well done

 

Listener perspective "tell" me HH is on left side. Try to switch drum channels left become right and right be left.

 

The tune reminds me a lot of this.

In form and progression.

 

IMHO The 1st track is the best one but... the bass is loud and the back vocal fx need some grit to give the lead vocal less energy (a lil' bit of distortion/saturation ). The 2nd is not balanced enought (low-end & high-end... re-think about it) . The 3rd is good but quite... boring (...not my genre).

I most commend you, you have good ears or perception didn't use any multiband compression on the mix and i tried pulling the vocals down in the mix and it didn't sound or felt right. i can see you listen attentively to the mix disregard mix 2 i would like you to listen on the smallest speaker you can find and tell me how well it translates because i have listen to it on small speaker and i like the translation granted it my work and i'm bias but i'm also a perfectionist who can't finish a mix .

So we only have the choice between the full and the acoustic mix? That's not a fair comparison imho, because they are quite different.
I never heard that horrible Mix 2. But let me say that most obviously what's wrong here is the effect on the vocals. There's an odd delay (maybe a pre-delay from a reverb) that's completely out of timing and also too loud. As Lean said the vocals may also be a bit too hot overall, but that would be ok, if there wouldn't be this odd delay. If time allows, I will listen and maybe comment a few more things. But that's the most obvious from me now. Hope I could help you.

 

The vocals either need to be recorded again, or they need serious tuning. This is an honest fact. These vocals are not in condition where mixing them should yet be a concern. When/if they are.. the lead vocal position should be less weighted in the center, and you need to lower the output of the delay signal on the right. When/if the lead vocals are in tune and mixed properly they may still be well in need of some chorus accompaniment to emphasize certain phrases and provide the needed changes to keep listeners interested. And the main chorus needs to be stronger than it is now.
