Feeling good with music. Hasn't happened for a long time. Really long. But spent the last 5 hours and for some reason this happened.

 

hehe. Nicely done. Yea sometimes the energy just isn't there and then one day it just hits you again

 

I'm amazed that sometimes music just happens without you being involved. Like delivering a baby. It's not your baby you just aided in bringing it into the world.

 

ye that's how art works. People think about it too much its just about sitting there and putting out again and again and you just naturally get better.

 

Oh man. So. The energy is reaching you. And this filled my heart. I'm totally buzzing now.

 

I have no idea if this is even a genre. It's orchestral with a beat but it's not any kind of traditional hip hop beat. I think it's in 6/8 but the beat pushes it to feel more urgent than it should. Like I say, it just flooded out really quickly, so I don't know what it is. Someone can probably give me a mundane explanation.

 

As James Brown said on Mind Power, "What it is, is what it is"!
And f genres in dems ear hole, bruh!

 

Not sure of the production to be honest but I dig the tune! With the right mix this could be pretty great!

 

It's great when inspiration just strikes you and what follows is a great gift from out of the blue!

 

Doesn't matter to me about the production details. I don't know about you, but for me to lose myself in the studio to the point where time disappears and you start working in daylight and are shocked to walk out and it's night time.....because in a way you're in a hypnotic, trance like state..... that's the magic of what we aim to do. When you are a conduit for the flow of sound. That's music making in its purist form.

 

It's definitely great when you get in the zone and your creative juices flow. It's not that often that I get caught in that flow these days but when I do It's magic.
Mixing, production and mastering is another art form in itself though and requires a differen't thought process I believe. That's the part where I become quite lazy!

 

i would sue that creativity for all they've got, they must not be allowed to just hit anybody as they please and get away with it!

 

Exactly man!...I agree!
Ideas and melodies might think that they can just squeeze their way into the mix and take over and shape the tune to their own taste also!
We have to make a stand and say no to these wayward ideas that stand to corrupt and invade our creative processes!
Vote: No to expression and creative freedom now!!!!!

 

Very nice composition, simple but expressive. The cello interlude is great, would you mind to tell us what instrument is that? May the creativity stay with you.
