creative commons license and music

    a friend asked me a while ago about this license and stuff, does it *really* protect your tracks as your own from people who might use it for their own releases?

    I was just hoping to discuss the issues, pros & cons with the Creative Commons license maybe in general or so - what do you think of it, what was your experience with it and so on...
