Stumbled across a link to HP for Avid ready systems. The link that came up first was for an HP Z6 G4.
with a Google search, prices seem to vary by link. The first two linking to HP workstation store are just above 2K US & 3K US respectively. Inside the base configuration is lower spec & higher price than the original HP Avid partner link I stumbled across. Once you start configuring to get to the original base spec, the price shoots to over 4K US.

I decided to put together an example clone system using the following (all prices from Newegg).

    Intel Xeon Silver 4216 16-Core, 32-Thread, 2.1 GHz (3.2 GHz Turbo) LGA 3647 100W BX806954216 Server Processor
    $929 US

AsRock Rack EP2C622D16-2T Server Motherboard Dual Socket LGA3647 Intel C622
    $606 US

    NEMIX RAM 16GB 2x8GB DDR4-2933 PC4-23400 1Rx8 ECC Registered Memory
    $118 US

Quadro P400 HP INC. - SB WORKSTATION OPTIONS 1ME43AT 2GB
    $104 US

HP S700 Pro 2.5" 512GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) 2AP99AA#ABL
    $79 US

WD Re 1TB Datacenter Capacity Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 inch WD1003FBYZ
    $60 US

Phanteks Revolt X PH-P1000PS 80PLUS Platinum, 1000W, Fully Modular, Dual System Support
    $230 US

Fractal Design Define 7 XL E-ATX Silent Modular Full Tower Computer Case
    $198 US

HP c2500 H3C53AA#ABA Black Wired Standard Desktop Keyboard/Mouse Combo
    $22 US
    ---------------
    Total = $2,346.00 US

These are prices that will change by the day but tend to be trending down to regular pricing slowly.

This should apply to any heavy production project that fall into Avid Pro Tools specifications for eal world workloads.

I have custom template for stressing system & DAW performance. The idea of the template is to have a session running in a loop using95 to 085 CPU with occasional spikes to 100%, without the system becoming sluggish, sputtering or audible clicks/digital clipping.

The above example system should be able to handle 192 tracks with 32gb to 64gb of memory. At 16gb I would guess 120 tracks using my template in Pro Tools.

    Hope this answers your question.
