Hello guys,

First, I am a beginner in Reaper and stuff, but I've been trying to solve this problem for a week and I am stuck, so I hope you can help me.

I wanted to install Metropolis Ark 1 library through Kontak, just for my own personal use and fun, as I am not a composer. I downloaded the library from torrent and also the cracked Kontak 5.6.1 to upload it, on Windows 10. It seems it uploads the library correctly, and all, but it does not make sounds properly. I mean, sometimes in some keys it does, but it is like random, and 95% of the keys do not work. I don't understand why. I've checked audio settings, restarting, etc, but it doesn't make sound.

Any help is appreciated, I would really love begin composing with that...

latest version (1.2) of metropalis ark 1 required kontakt v5.8.1 and higher
what about standalone version of kontakt?

 

Hi, thanks a lot for the fast reply! I didn't know that... I'll try with a newer cracked version then, and let you know. By the way, what is the standalone version of Kontakt?

satandalone program you can run directly (not as plugin in reaper or any other host). you can find it in program files (or windows start menu).

 

Ah yes! I run it directly from the application. I have installed the 6.2 version and seems to work on the standalone program, thanks! But now Reaper somehow doesn't recognize the VST, and I fixed the path. I'll check again...

just remove it from your components folder and vst folders on your mac and then reinstall them and copy the cracked au,vst,vst3 or whatever to there folders and it should work mine did

then run reaper and it should refind the vst's and au and when you selected the fx you should see New in the box on the left
