The cracked Ableton.Live.11.Suite.v11.0.2-macOS ran smoothly for a month.
After that, the authorization was removed.

Since then, no cracked Ableton works at all:
Ableton.Live.11.Suite.v11.0.2-macOS
Ableton.Live.11.Suite.v11.0.5.macOS-[P]
Ableton.Live.Suite.10.Suite.v10.1.40.macOS-[P]

Because every time I use the keygen from
Ableton.Live.Suite.11.v11.0.0.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R
or
Ableton.Live.Suite.v10.1.25.Incl.Patched.and.Keygen-R2R
And create an authorization file, Ableton says "This authorization file is invalid for this machine."

I followed all the instructions correctly afaik.
I.e. replaced the "Live" file in Contents/MacOS with the patch, and / or changed the permissions of this "Live" file with batchmode.

As well as typed this lines into the terminal:

"Code sign

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 11\ Suite.app"

Maybe I found the problem?
After changing the "Live" file in Contents/MacOS with batchmode (please see attached picture)
I write in Terminal:

"Code sign

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 11\ Suite.app"

Then I get this error message:

did you turn off auto updates? but R2R version disable that in the patch, so cant help really

 

yes I did.

its very unusual that both, ableton 10 and ableton 11 won't accept the authorize file created with R2R keygen, right?

 

- Open with a text editor the .auz file generated from keygen
- swap the first A0 with B0
- save file and drop it on open app

 

it then says "The license does not match their Live Suite version."

 

Considering batchmode:

Is this the correct action on the Contents/MacOS "Live" file ?


I cannot use the patched "Live" file, because Ableton won't open at all then.
So I guess I HAVE to use batchmode, right?

Should I do something else in batchmode?


EDIT:

1. I change the rights in the "Live" file with batchmode.
2. I save it.
3. When I reopen "Live" file, the changes I just did are gone ?

So in conclusion there is the problem with terminal (please see post above #6)
And the problem, that the rights altering with batchmode does not seem to work / stay.
One of these two things, or both, are responsible I guess.

what is your os?
did you installed any system / os updates before duuring this month when live worked fine?

btw, check permissions for generated authorization file.

I've just installed Mojave the same day of the installation of Live 11... And since live 10 have the same error message...
I've chek permission, reinstall...

EDIT:
Today i tried again after i uninstall everything live 10 and 11.
In fact, I never opened the live app package to replace the live patch. I had just slipped the patch into the application folder.
So, Just read Install note.txt carefully...
Everything is ok now, I am so happy !!!

Timebomb? I hope not! I make heavy use ever since R2R released 11 Suite.

 

The problem (?) is that the hooks I set with batchmode, whether at "Live" or the "Authorize.auz", are gone again. after I reopen it. you know what I mean? I think something is wrong here. And that's why it does not work at all.

 

cracking ableton on macOS is a huge pain indeed, I tried it but it never worked so I was forced to use windows instead. big sad

 

For the code sign part....do you have 'command line tools' installed?

copy this in to terminal;

xcode-select —install

let it do it's thing and then try re-running the commands

 

Guys, so I figured out why randomly my .auz would stop working. This is because YOU NEED TO TURN OFF AUTO UPDATE in Preferences.

I reinstalled the latest version 11.0.10 > replaced patch > terminal: "sudo xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 11\ Suite.app" > Batchmod the app to give it full writing/admin access > all good.

As long as you do this you don't even need to use a .auz/run the keygen to generate a .auz with Crossover etc. it's already patched.

But remember TO TURN OFF AUTO UPDATE as soon as you open it the first time because I could see in the bottom left corner that it was already downloading automatically 11.0.11 without warning.
