People have had many complaints about the troll posting in forums, but unfortunately there is no court to deal with these complaints.
Wouldn't it be better "a new subdivision in the international courts" is created to deal with these matters?

Seriously though, a DAW manufacturer or DAW software programmer does not make, design or create their product for any reason other than to achieve the goal they set for themselves. It is like writing a piece of music. You can write to please yourself for art's sake or write to please others. The day you can sue a creator for not doing what people who CHOSE to buy it wanted, songwriting and everything creative ceases to exist other than a pile of regurgitated sheeple music, programs, products and world.

 

If anyone has written software in a commerical capacity, they will know they don't choose what they want to write. They usually have a project lead, product owner or product manger who decides what goes in to a release.

If anyone has been a product owner/manager they will know they have stakeholders who decide what the next release will contain based on commerical value.

It all boils down to the MVP (Minimum Viable Product), development costs and technical debt (bugs/defects).
