Copyright infringement from the title of a novel.

    I got an idea about the title of my new song and found it already exists as the title of a novel. In this case, can I still use it or will it be a copyright infringement?

    You are not publishing a novel and there are plenty of books (and songs) with the same titles, so relax...

    Of course you can use it. I would even arrange a fake lawsuit drama with that author so we both get more publicity. :drunks:

    But joke aside there should not be any problem with it at all, it sounds far fetched and songs with book names come out every day.
