Converting your samples to WavPack (Lossy and Lossless)

    Hi!

    If you think your samples take a lot of space and want to reduce them, you can use the WavPack format. There are many compression formats, but I think WavPack is better than all of them that most DAWs support it. It does not spoil the spectral profile (which is the most important advantage for composers) and at the same time allocates less size to samples than its competitors. WavPack supports both Lossy and Lossless modes. I'm talking about Lossy feature. Lossless's situation is completely obvious.


    But which tools are best for converting samples to WavPack format?
    I tested more than 50 different batch format conversion tools and found that over 90% of them manipulate the spectral profile. I checked below 5 tools carefully and saw that they do not have any negative effect on samples. Of these 5, the first 2 are commercial and the remaining 3 are free.
