Hey, I saw the problem is kind of solved. If someone could create something that automaticaly convert v3 preset to v2, that would be a huge success I think

I have v3 version so no problem for me, but I just try quickly the few preset Karim try to remake and open them with my v3 : I don't know if the v2 & v3 version sounds the same, they probably do, but for your difference, on the Alone preset, you make some mistake with the octave on osc A2 and B1, on your version they're at -1, but on the original bank they're at +1. With the correction I got the same sound

No difference for the "Solo" preset (so if here you got a difference, that's weird)

Also, to Lennar Digital defence about their update, it was mostly to be more compatible with win10, and finally release the 64bit version as an official instead of the eternel beta version. It's not the company that update the most their product, and when they do it's free for their registered user. The synth is expensive indeed, but for me it worth the price (and I own Serum, Avenger, Harmor, Massive and Spice legally too, almong other). It still one of my most used synth, because of how simple it is, and light on CPU (and for more complex, I use Serum usually, depending on what I want). So yes, most of the people here are user of the sisters sites and so we can't pretend to buy anything, we can't all afford buying anything, but at the minimum we can at least respect the guy who work to protect their work (and don't charge first customers for just a security update, like some other company does)

 

Yea thank you. when i made the post i was just starting with sylenth1. im more experienced now and i know what i did wrong there.

in "Solo" there was a pitch bend in mod envelop 2, so yea.

also usually ppl who use cracked stuff won't be customers anyway if you close the program on them. its worth the price if you pay monthly for a year for sure. i have it now for 2 weeks and i used it in every single project already. its amazing, sounds great and light on the cpu. i will ofcourse buy if i get more serous with music.

i just finished the automatic converting tool for the soundbanks. it was a 2 day work. works fast and smooth, made it myself. ik its very late rn but i didn't get the time to work on it earlier. hope you guys enjoy :D . also i think it will work for presets if you use custom. or even the default, idk i don't have any v3 presets to test it on.

i have also the source code code uploaded with the program for ppl who are scared from viruses. and if you are still scared from a 10kb program you can compile it again with the source code.

Edit: don't ever use the mass folder convert in a folder with important stuff. Or anything aside from fxb or fxp extentions, or your other files will be corrupted. Becareful.

Can you convert the Stiickz Vol 5 sylenth1 ?

 

Thank you I converted 2 fxb soundbanks. Now I can finally use them.
But I couldnt convert fxp files with the default mode, didnt try the custom mod, felt a little too complicated to me.

the custom is actually easy, you should have used the help command though. custom works by copying the hex decimal you have imported with your excited v2 soundbank and pasting it into the v3 soundbank. by other words: you enter the path of your excited v2 soundbank and then enter your v3 soundbank that you want to convert.

preset and banks should work on all the version ,like it or not

today the company go to right directions just because of that , now they start to think not only about themselves
but about all people even the poor people !
they doing pay peer MT after you pay full price you get the product (best way) now they will start to earn more money

I can understand when presets don't work anymore because your version is too old...

But with sylenth it felt like the developer just made it like this because he wants that all those poor people would finally buy the software xD

 

What program did they use?
When I try to meditate it gives me denied access even though I already grant permission.

Thank you, @momo for helping out! I just edited the StiickzZ Martin Garrix edition with HxD and it worked. I'm sure the other V2-banks work as well (I just gotta find them and edit them).
