    Hi all,

I have a question about converting onminsphere patches.

It is possile to convert omnisphere v1 patches for the new omnisphere, but does anyone have some knowledge about how this proces is done?

Also i would like to know (if possible) a method to import multiple .omnisphere converted patches.
That would make life alot easier.

Factory, User or 3rd Party patches?

Did you search the Omni Reference Guide?

Did you look at the Spectrasonics web site?

    Specifically the Omni FAQ?

    https://www.spectrasonics.net/products/omnisphere/omnisphere-faq.php

Is everything from Omnisphere 1 included in Omnisphere 2?
    Yes, of course!

I understand that to mean that all Factory patches from v1 are in v2.

Or are you talking about User patches you created? If so I can't answer that one. My guess is that if you made you own patch in v1 and then install v2 that Omni would look at all patches and make them compatible in v2 (just a guess).

Or are you referring to 3rd party patches? If so then here is something I found via a google: http://frontaudio.eu/converted-patches-in-omnisphere-2-format/

Considering all the work they put into Omni it kind of makes sense to me that any v1 patches a user creates or bought (as in 3rd party) would work in v2. Otherwise I am sure users who created their own patches would have complained about it to Spectrasonics and a fix would have been out by now addressing that (if it was even an issue).

I hope that helps you some!!!
