Is there any way to convert a reason refill to use in kontakt?
I tried one but it crashed when I loaded an rfl file in it.
Or do you need to have reasonn while using the refill viewer?

 

I don't think there is. You may be able to extract the sound files using something like hexedit, but it will be quite time consuming and I haven't got any refill packs to check myself.
you could record the sound files and then create your own I guess

 

Seems like a lot of work, but if i had reason, i'd still need these rack extensions for the refills I'd like to use.
Problem is I can't seem to find the refills, they're very expensive, but they are amazing. Analog Theory for example.
I'm more use to Kontakt, going back to Reason would take a lot of learning too.
I've only started using Kontakt in ableton and I like that flow.
Don't think you could do the same with reason.

 

The only way I know is to use Refill Unpacker, its a little buggy, but it works most of the time.

I had that refill viewer/unpacker and loaded a refill .rfl in it, then it crashed.
I'd prefer to get the rack extension, then i could just use the analog theory refill in reason,
Instead of trying to extract the refill to use in kontakt.
